This year marked the first spell with the team for Nigel Mansell brought in from Lotus to partner Rosberg. Initially Rosberg was unhappy at having Mansell as his partner but was won over by the middle of the season.
The Honda engine was improving almost every race allowing the team to finish the season in 3rd place which Rosberg was third and Mansell, having scored his first win during the season, 6th.
