The Williams Museum, or “Collection” to give it it’s official title was moved in early 2002 from the main factory to a separate building immediately behind. This building originally housed BMW Motorsport but has stood empty since the demise of the BMW Le Mans project.
Now it has a new lease of life as the The conference center has been expanded since it was moved from the factory but is still subject to the same restrictions, i.e. it is NOT generally open to the public. Currently, to get to go round you will need to attend as part of a conference or one of Williams’ race day packages.
However, The Williams Database were lucky enough to be able to attend a recent conference and therefore visit the collection. The next page contains some 40 pictures taken while there.
