A classic event and a one off opportunity for Williams. At the height of their success Williams, along with a number of other leading British Touring Car teams, packed up and made their way to Australia for the classic Bathurst 1000 race.
This was a special occasion for the Williams team for another reason – the team was rejoined by Alan Jones for one more outing. Unfortunately Jonesy put the car into a wall as these pictures too clearly show!
